Introduction of Yixiang10 F1

ⅰ. Origin of the variety: Yixiang10 is matching Yixiang1A as frmale variety and Yihui3678 as male variety which was researched by agriculture research bureau of Yibing city Sichuan province. In 2002 it awarded as the qualified rice of Sichuan province. In 2003 it gets the national variety protection (proclaim No.CNA000776E). In 2005, it passes the national approval of southwest in upstream of Yangtze Rive.

ⅱ. Characteristic:

1、High quality with sweet smell: it was examine by national rice quality examination center: unpolished rice rate is 80.0%，polished rice is 73.6%，whole polished rice rate is 1.8%，the length of unpolished rice is 6.9mm，length and width ratio is 2.9，transparence is 1degree, starch content is 16.3%，protein content is 8.1%，processing quality is high with good appearance, rice tastes delicious.

2、Good plant with proper growing period: plant height is 116.8cm.earlength is 25.8cm, average ear kernels is 161.5,seed setting rate is 76.4%，thousand kernel weight is 29.1g，young plant grows vigorous with light green leaves, big ear with more kernels，the whole growing period is 154 days.

ⅲ. Yield: average yield is about 550-660㎏ per 666m²，in Leshan,Yibin, dazhou and Shehong average yield is 566.40kg per 666m²， in 2002 the trial planting in Wulingshan, yield is 531.0㎏ per 666m².

ⅳ. Adopt area: suitable to plant in Pinba and hill area of Sichuan and in southern part it can be planted as middle maturity or double season later maturity variety.  

ⅴ. Cultivation point:  

If it was planted in Sichuan as middle maturity variety:

1, Plant in the right time, the latitude is below 400m,it should be planted in the middle or latter of March, needs seed 1.0—1.25kg per 666m²，young plant should about 30—40 days.

2, Plant with enough space so to increase sunshine. Better to adopt wide and narrow row or wide row narrow plant distance, about 0.13 million  to 0.15 million plant per 660m² , field standard is 30cmX13.3cm or（46.7cm+20cm）X16.7cm，,each point have 2 plants.

3, Fertilize properly. Medium fertilized field, use organic fertilize over 75kg per 666m² , urea 7.5kg per 666m² .

4, Irrigate scientifically. in the early time, shallow water , in the middle time, field can see sunshine and in the later time keep wet till to mature. 

5, Note to prevent and cure disease. Note to rice borer, rice blast.

6, Field planting should aware organic fertilize and later period fertilize, cut water shouldn’t too early.

If plant in the southern part, should according to local cultivation habit and increase destiny.
