Phase 1 project of Dunhuang Seed Pioneer Hi-Bred Company Ltd. has completed on September 26th, and we celebrate the factory put onto production, the achievement is due to Gansu Dunhuang Seed Co. Ltd and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc. cooperated actively, and it proves the successful cooperation between Gansu Dunhuang Seed Co. Ltd and Pioneer Hi-Bred International, Inc.
The Processing Factory is the first phase of the cooperation project, it starts estabilishing on April 9th, and put into production on September 3rd, totally tooks 5 months, and completed investment of fixes assets RMB 56 million yuan, build up including corn ear, drying, threshing, selection, coating and packing, the whole system of automatic production line.
The first phase project can processing corn ear 380 ton per day, and processing corn seed 7,000 ton per year, and sales revenue is more than RMB 100 million yuan.
The project will play a very important role in improving hybrid corn seed quality, widening the job opportunities and promote the locate economy. Meanwhile, the phase 2 project will start building recently and it is planned start building in 2009 as scheduled.
